Teaching Philosophy

I strive to increase students’ confidence with quantitative problem-solving through an emphasis on active learning. I believe that equipping students with the tools and opportunities to practice analytical reasoning and technical communication skills can cultivate a broadly applicable skill set and a sense of belonging within science communities.
